The Bhringraj leaf from the Bhringraj (Eclipta prostrata) plant is a medicinal powerhouse in Ayurveda and other traditional systems. It is commonly found growing as a weed in waste places, marshy lands, hedges, and roadsides and is one of the medicinal plant species traded in high volumes sourced mainly from wastelands! The herb, also called “The King of Hair”, is used in the preparation of hair care herbal products like shampoos, protein conditioners and revitalising hair oils. The Bhringraj plant comes in many varieties as do our commemorative stoneware plates for it, with hand-carved wooden stands, to remind us of nature’s bounty.
