These sculptural tea light holders honor the ancient Boita Bandana festival, when merchants set sail across the Bay of Bengal in search of new horizons. Each October, during Kartika Purnima, Odias float miniature boats carrying lamps to commemorate these voyages of courage and commerce.

Handcrafted in elegant grey stoneware by ceramist Rakesh Rana, this set features two boats - one large (navigator) and one small (companion) - designed to hold standard tea lights. The minimalist form captures both the grace of traditional boats and contemporary design sensibility, making them perfect for modern homes while preserving cultural memory.
