The Rangoon Creeper, or Madhumalati in Odia, is celebrated for its cascading clusters of fragrant, star-shaped flowers that shift from white to pink and deep red – mirroring the changing seasons and the passage of time. In Odisha, this plant is revered for its fragrant blooms and its ability to thrive in various conditions, symbolizing resilience and beauty in diversity. Our Madhumalati Pendant captures this transformation, with every leaf meticulously handcrafted to mirror the intricate veins and natural forms of the plant. Our depiction of the Madhumalati leaves, with their intricate veins captured in ceramic stoneware, is complete with a chain made of natural fibres and adorned with dhokra beads. Packaged in a hand-carved wooden box, this pendant serves as a reminder to wear our living heritage with a smile.
