Story

The Sida Acuta Burm, Sunakhodiya in Odia, is a hardy plant with small yellow flowers and a long history of use in traditional medicine. Revered for its healing properties, Sunakhodiya is often used in folk remedies to treat wounds, fever, and various ailments. The plant symbolizes resilience and the deep connection between nature and health, reflecting the wisdom of Odisha's herbal traditions. Our depiction of the Sunakhodiya leaves, with their intricate veins captured in ceramic stoneware, is complete with a chain made of natural fibres and adorned with dhokra beads. Packaged in a hand-carved wooden box, this pendant serves as a reminder to wear our living heritage with a smile.
