This exceptional table lamp marks the Aabha collection's premium offering in task lighting, extending the collection's commitment to sustainable design and artisanal excellence into a versatile, directional lighting solution.

The lamp's bamboo shade showcases the intricate basket-weave technique perfected by master craftsman Ekadasi Barik and his team from Khorda. Each bamboo strip is meticulously interlaced to create a rhythmic pattern that transforms harsh electric light into a warm, honey-toned glow. The natural bamboo allows light to filter through in a mesmerizing play of illumination and shadow, casting gentle patterns on work surfaces and surrounding walls.

Designed by Abhijeet Kaushal, the lamp features a gracefully curved brass arm that arches from a solid wooden base, creating an elegant silhouette reminiscent of temple oil lamps reimagined for modern life. The woven bamboo softens harsh electric light into a warm honey glow, casting gentle patterns that slowly move across nearby walls. Balanced by a curved brass arm and solid wood base, it brings calm to reading corners, bedside tables and quiet conversations.

Who made it

The bamboo shade is handwoven by Ekadasi Barik, master bamboo craftsman from Khorda, Odisha. The brass arm and wooden base were designed by Abhijeet Kaushal, bringing together traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design. Every lamp takes nearly three days to complete.
