    SŌRU PĒNU (STONEWARE SCULPTURE)

    Sōru Pēnu - Stoneware Sculpture

Sōru Pēnu is the result of an idea that attempts to bring to life Niyam Raja, the God of Niyamgiri in Upendra’s signature totem-like art form. The curves denote water bodies i.e., rivers and waterfalls and the straight lines at the bottom represent the boundary of the tribe’s habitation.
