The Lantana Camara, Putus in Odia, is a vibrant shrub admired for its colourful, ever-changing clusters of flowers that shift from bright yellows and oranges to deep reds and purples. In some parts of India, including Odisha, Putus has been used in folk medicine for its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. The leaves and flowers are sometimes used in traditional remedies for treating wounds, fever, and respiratory issues. Our depiction of the Putus leaves, with their intricate veins captured in ceramic stoneware, is complete with a chain made of natural fibres and adorned with dhokra beads. Packaged in a hand-carved wooden box, this pendant serves as a reminder to wear our living heritage with a smile.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

– This product is handcrafted and therefore slight variations in colours, textures and forms are inevitable and aren’t flaws.

– Our ceramic jewelry is covered and protected with a waterproof glaze. Despite its toughness, ceramic jewelry may scratch or shatter upon impact, so treat your pieces with care.

– Clean by wiping with a soft, damp cloth. You can also use warm, soapy water and a soft cloth for pieces that need a deeper cleaning. Do not use abrasive cleaners or polishing cloths.
