The Sandhya Table Lamp introduces a new silhouette to the Aabha Lighting collection: a tall, tapering Raku-fired column base by ceramist Saroj Rout, its surface a weathered field of copper, slate-blue, and charcoal — the alchemy of fire, smoke, and reduction rendered in stone-like relief.

Rising from a brass collar at the crown of the base, a bulbous, hand-woven bamboo globe shade by master weaver Ekadasi Barik casts a warm, dappled glow, its tight diamond lattice softening the light into a honeyed wash across walls and ceiling.

Sandhya sits at the meeting point of two crafts and two temperaments — the raw, unpredictable transformation of Raku firing grounding the lamp, and the disciplined, rhythmic patience of bamboo weaving crowning it — a fitting form for the hour it's named for.
